Dr. Sridhar Ponnam is a renowned Ophthalmologist from India. He is Managing Director of Sri Chandra Hospital in Karimnagar, Telangana. Dr. Sridhar Ponnam has been in practice for the past 21 years and is better recognised for his work in Ophthalmology domain. He is known as the chief architect of Telangana model of Ophthalmology which puts ophthalmic treatment in the reach of common man and lower income groups.

 

Apart from his MBBS and MD in Ophthalmology, he has Fellowships in General Ophthalmology (1992), and Glaucoma & Anterior Segment Surgery (1993-94) which he has received from Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai.
